Lauri & band @ Tammerfest 2011
After being all happy about the rain on Friday i was really hoping that it wouldn’t rain in Tampere. Well, it was pouring when we arrived there. So had to spend some time until the gig started soo… Muumilaakso, KotiPizza and some shopping 
Then met up with friends and drank some (well they drank, i prefered to be sober, but after all i had to drink too 
). Lauri had to start the gig at 8.30 PM so we went to the festival venue at 8PM and went in to see what’s the matter with the whole thing. It was quite a disappointment for me to see that there were so few people. It’s like we easily got the first row just half an hour before the gig. Now go and try that at a The Rasmus gig, no way you’ll get first row!
Lauri played the whole New World album and one small part from the ooooold time’ sake, Sophia, a really cute little song. I have to tell that the songs from the album sound so much better live than recorded. I don’t know why, but they do, and yeah a bit different too, they sometimes use different effects, but it’s cool and i like it, despite that electro music was never my cup of tea. Most of the songs were to-party-at, but some are really like you feel falling asleep, like Because of you at which on the back screens it was Amanda showing up hihi, or Got you on my mind, the song when i start to shiver because i hate it so much. After the gig was meeting but we left, the girls managed to go inside, i didn’t. But i waited with some other friends for Lauri to come out when they left with the bus. Could exchange some words with him, get my New World signed and also get a picture. That’s something it was worth almost getting frozen for, like always. More of my pictures are here.
